I am currently restoring a 1963 Mini in red and black, I’ve always wanted one since I was a child. And here it is. It is a complete rebuild This is after welding but before spraying, if you know minis you might notice the bulk head modifications. Just filling with lead around the front end. And the back where it is DE seemed.
All smooth ready for martin.
yes I am licking a whisk, but focus on the paint work
The paint looks a bit dull in this picture because of the waxoil.
starting on the wiring, first sort out the ice
just starting on the loom so will go quiet for a few weeks
the loom in side the car has not changed much in the past month,But I have done a bit of pipe work and the hand brake is in.
and now the headlights and indicates. the rear lights
Had a few sleepless nights over the boot lid being warped, you can fit an adult finger in the gap,
luckily it is fiberglass, sleep agene.
spent a bit of time on the wiring loom
just puling the lilting and wiper motor throw
and look at this earth strap from altec automotive
